It’s Gravy if you were brought up in an Italian family where your Grandparents came from Sicily.
Gravy
Sauce for spaghetti. Gravy for mashed potatoes lol
No it is gravy
Well my grandpa was from Sicily came over from there but I never heard anyone in my family call it gravy
Sauce
Gravy (I’m from south jersey) sun thurs I still say I made gravy
Gravy has meat in it.Sauce is marinara.
GRAVY!!!
That’s interesting. I’m not Italian, but, in NJ, we called it sauce but the Italians called it gravy. Nobody ate marinara! Sauce without meat was just spiced up tomatoes!
Itβs gravy. Always was and always will be
Gravy…my husband’s family all called in gravy, so do I.
Gravy! Every Sunday morning, my mother would yell that one of us had to start the Gravy!
