Best pizza (Trenton tomato pie, don’t @ us). Best bagels — it’s the water, and yes, we’ve tested this theory extensively. Best diners — 500+ of them. Taylor ham, egg and cheese. Disco fries. The sub versus hoagie debate exists because our sandwiches needed their own vocabulary.

The Shore Is Unmatched

130 miles of coastline. Boardwalks with actual character. Beach towns for every personality — Wildwood’s neon chaos, Cape May’s Victorian calm, Asbury’s cool factor. Other states have “beaches.” We have the Shore. There’s a difference, and we can feel it.

We’re the Punchline That Wins

Everyone makes Jersey jokes — until they need our pizza, our bagels, our beaches, our tomatoes, our corn. New Jersey is the most mocked and most secretly envied state in America. The jokes are just how other states cope.

Location, Location, Location

Mountains, farmland, cities, and the ocean — all within an hour of each other. You can ski and surf in the same weekend. We’re 20 minutes from Manhattan and a world away from it at the same time. Name another state that pulls that off.

The People

Tough, loyal, funny, and direct. Jersey people will give you the shirt off their back and tell you it’s ugly while they do it. There’s no pretense here — what you see is what you get, and what you get is the best.
